Gas Cylinder for Tribals

Mettupalayam Feb 06, 2010: In the Mettupalayam Region Gas Cylinders and Business Loans for tribal people living in Kallar Pudur and Akathiyar Nagar was dispersed at a function held at the Government Timer Depot at Mettupalayam, Forest Officer Mr. Thannapan chaired the function and distributed the Gas cylinders for 125 peolpe and Loan amount of Rs.60,000 for 9 people. Other dignatries at the function were Mr. Gunasekaran, Forest Official Mr.Ravi, Mr.Thangavel, Mr.Pandiyan, Mr.Narayananand Mr.Ibrahim.

The volunteers interest in spreading any particular message ( Non-Political ) and creating a Brand name for Mettupalayam among the outsiders. Typically most tourists stop in Mettupalayam for a short stay or stop have food or over night stay etc., which definitely helps local business and people. Lot of other things can be done but always doing with volunteers and getting outside support occasionally will help. Brand Mettupalayam in a good spirit and helping tourists as a non-profit basis will help tourists extend thier stay and spend more money in MTP helping locally all.
