Mettupalayam Feb 08, 2010: Ant Eater Found in the Timber Depot at Ooty Main road, Mettupalayam. The animal came from Mettupalayam Forest area to depot, when depot Staffs found it and they called the Mettupalayam Forest officials after confirming it was an Ant eater. The Forest officials (Mr. Thannappan and other staffs) on arrival took back the ant eater in to the forest safely.
