Villages around Karamadai prepare for Car Festival

Karamadai, Feb 20, 2010 : Villages around Karamadai celebrate the Car (ther) festival very grandly. The villages have a holiday on the 28th Feb and there are several poojas at many small temples around the temple. This temple being a very old and popular temple, the festival preparations are done at every village level and the honors are also shared by the heads of all villages and the big families that share the tradition. The Flag hoisting is due on Monday 12.15 pm and the festive mood will gather momentum from that moment at the temple.
